WHAT TYPE OF GLUE IS USED FOR KITCHEN BENCHTOPS?

We use a “2 part” Structural epoxy. It is very important that the glue joins are free of dust and saw marks. This is why we run our Laminated Kwila Kithchen Benchtops through a Surface Planer then a Surface Sander.

Properly Sanded and Sealed, a Laminated Hardwood Kitchen Benchtop will have a standard lifespan of 15 – 20 years.
CAN WE PLACE HOT OBJECTS ON A HARDWOOD KITCHEN BENCHTOP?

Care should be taken on all Wooden Kitchen Benchtops. We advise to treat this one like any other standard Kitchen Benchtop. We use a mix of eco friendly epoxies and polyurethanes to achieve a hard wearing surface.
